The second way is automatic video recording by shot. To enable it, enter the Menu- Multimedia-Video Recording Settings – Recording type – By shot. Here you set up pre- and post-event intervals. These intervals will be saved in the device memory.
The third way is to activate recording via a gadget (tablet or phone) and save video in its memory. Press the button on the screen of the opened application to start recording and press it again to stop. You can find this video in a multimedia section, send it to YouTube by various ways, via e-mail, WhatsApp, etc., as well as playback it.
To playback videos, you enter the multimedia section – video archive. You can find here data saved by shot and by button; videos are indicated by numbers. You can playback any of them and send if necessary.
If you shoot with the clip-on, you use a scope reticle for aiming. It means that a video doesn’t have it. To get the video aiming point displayed, you should enable the virtual reticle and superimpose it with our scope reticle. For this, enter Menu-Clip-on. Activate the virtual reticle, enter the Adjustment item, and superimpose a diamond mark with the center of our reticle. So on, you will view our exact aiming point for video recording.
The IR&D’s thermal clip-ons comprise a unique ballistic correction system. Since you use the scope reticle for aiming and cannot move it relative to a thermal image, the image moving system has been implemented. It means that ballistic data of the selected ammo should be entered first, and then, after the range entering, the image will move in vertical direction to a distance which a bullet choses at this range.
As optical arrangements of different scopes vary, sometimes the night zero correction is required. For this, press and hold the central button to enter the service menu. The standard menu appears first, but you should keep holding the button. Then the service menu is introduced. Its upper parameter is the night zero. Here you can find X and Y axes default settings. If the impact point needs any adjustments, you move the image in vertical and horizontal directions. The point of impact should coincide during shooting both with the scope and the clip-on. Next, you exit the service menu.
